I think that the greatest game ever is Halo 2.
My favorite game is Halo 2. it won the guiness world record for the most games sold in 24 hours.

*Qualifications behind these nominations are whether the game in question did something to heavily influence or shake up the video game industry, make a genre change or define a new direction, or was just plain insanely popular and made people empty their wallets.
